On March 25, I said goodbye to my students. That’s because I will be working at a new school from April. After the homeroom, they made a long queue to say goodbye to me one by one. Some students wanted me to autograph their dictionaries. Others wanted to take a photo with me. One student even gave me a precious pen as a gift. I felt like I had become a popular TV star. At the same time, I realized I would miss them more than I expected. However, as I told them, I can’t open a new door unless I close the old one. My memories in my English classes, on a field trip to Australia, and every bright moment at the school will drive me forward. Someday, I will meet them again. I’m looking forward to it. (139 words)
