My wife and I went to a park during Golden Week, and we saw a poster for “Stand By Me.” They were going to show the movie outdoors on Sunday night. My wife liked one of the actors, so we decided to go. The weather that evening was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. We sat in the second row of the outdoor theater. It was an old movie, but once it started, I forgot where I was. “Stand By Me” is about four boys at the end of their summer vacation. They go off on an overnight adventure which tests their friendship. They are funny, crazy, and sometimes violent, but all the difficulties they experience make their friendship stronger. This movie is 40 years old, but it’s still great! I won’t tell you anymore because I don’t want to spoil it for you. (146 words)
